This decking rescue paint by Ronseal is great at reviving old garden decks. The paint fills cracks in the wood where the boards have weathered.
It also helps in sealing splinter in the deck where the wood is starting to lift.
It is a two coat system with a 2.5-litre tin covering 10m2 on ridged deck boards and 12m2 of smooth planed boards. It will apply straight over grey areas of the old deck.

Roxil has produced a wood protection cream that is effective on both softwoods and aged hardwoods.
It produces a clear waterproof barrier for garden decking and also fence, furniture, and sheds.
It is a silicone-based protection emulsion cream that only requires one coat. The coating helps to reduce the growth of algae and mould.

Trade Paints Non-Slip Decking Paint is available in thirteen different colours in a satinwood finish. The paint comes in either a 2.5 litre or 5-litre tin.
The drying time of the paint is 2-4 hours depending on the external conditions.
It is hard-wearing single pack polyurethane which not only seals the timbers but also colours at the same time.

This product is designed to soak into the wood to offer long-lasting protection against rain, wind and sun.
The stain is designed to prevent the wood greying from weather and age and also helps to stop the timber from splitting.
This brush applied water-based stain is a two coat system and the tins are available in both 2.5L and 5L choices.
